Rural Services Manager

McIntyre Dick & Partners Limited, is a successful chartered accountancy and business advisory firm based in Invercargill. It is an established firm of 5 principals and 42 staff providing a full range of business, accounting and taxation services for rural, corporate and commercial businesses. McIntyre Dick & Partners Limited – Rural Services has a strong representation in the rural services sector and wish to develop this further.

McIntyre Dick & Partners Limited is looking for a Rural Services Manager to provide leadership and accounting services to rural sector clients.

This role would be responsible for –

1. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships in the rural sector.
2. Development and implementation of the marketing plan for rural services.
3. Provision of planning, financial and budgetary services to existing and new rural sector clients.
4. Responsibility for maintaining current knowledge of livestock and farm management issues in the firm and rural sector staff training.
5. Developing statistical analysis and overseeing financial software service for rural clients.

The preferred candidate will hold a farm management and/or accounting tertiary qualification, be experienced in the rural sector and currently may be involved in a rural Agribusiness role. Essential attributes include:

• Rural sector knowledge and marketing experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with financial IT systems.
