Lindsay McIntyreConsultantRural Services Lindsay joined the Invercargill office in 1975, after spending time in Christchurch and London, becoming a partner in 1978. Lindsay has been managing partner of the office, was responsible for the audit team for a number of years, but has been particularly interested in the rural sector. He has served on the Rural Sector Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand. In 1994 Lindsay was made a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand. From 2006, he has been a Consultant to the firm, based in Bannockburn in Central Otago. Lindsay has been active in service clubs through Round Table and Rotary and was District Governor for Rotary District 9980 in 2008-09. He is married to Mary, and they have three adult sons, John, Richard, and Hamish. All three sons have spent extended time overseas, and this has involved Lindsay and Mary in extensive travel. Lindsay’s other interests include gardening, rugby, wine and he is developing golf and cycling as new recreational pursuits. |
