What absolute legends! A massive congratulations to Stewart (Stu) Perkins, Chris Shaw and Kathryn Ball for achieving 40 years’ membership with Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand (CAANZ).

We were so pleased to celebrate this incredible milestone for our three amazing McIntyre Dick team members at last Friday’s Southland CAANZ Awards dinner.

These awards are a reflection and recognition of the energy, drive, passion, and commitment that Stu, Chris, and Kathryn bring to the work they do and the people they work alongside. This dedication has made, and continues to make, a difference to businesses, families, communities, and our team every single day.

The awards ceremony and celebrations have been a great opportunity for us to pause and acknowledge the support, mentoring, and training the three of them have provided to our team and clients over the past 40 years.

They willingly share their knowledge on all things accounting and advisory, as well as their deep understanding of what makes businesses and communities across our region successful.

They have invested time in developing strong relationships through their community and work engagements, and have shown that accounting is more than just numbers—it's about relationships, trust, and being alongside our clients for the long haul.

Stu, Chris, and Kathryn, we are so pleased you are part of the McIntyre Dick whānau, and we want you to know how proud we are of your achievement!

We also want to acknowledge the other award recipients—recent Chartered Accountant graduates, milestone recipients attaining 25, 40, and 50 years of membership, and the three new Fellows: Greg Buzzard, Jackie Palmer, and Ian Harrington.

Brad Phillips also channeled his experience from last year, when he was awarded a Fellowship, and accepted the 40-year milestone certificate on Chris’s behalf.
