Team Culture Workshop

McIntyre Dick has aligned with Coach Approach Rural to deliver interactive Team Culture development.

What is a Team Culture Workshop?

The culture or vibe that exists in your business team is foundational for how engaged and positive individuals are on a daily basis. If you can establish a culture of trust and accountability the team will flourish and you will subsequently have a strong foundation for sustained high performance.

Our workshops use three key models to help your team understand the principles of a highly effective team and combines these with agreed follow up actions to embed the learning in the workplace.

How does it work?

TetraMap is at the heart of this workshop, which involves participants completing a multi-question instrument which highlights four behavioural preferences. It requires participants to think about who they are as a person and how they behave in truth rather than how they would like to be perceived.

We also leverage some of the teachings of Stephen Covey’s seven habits of highly effective people and run an interactive question and answer process with the team before they build their own action plan.

What are the benefits?

Your team will experience the following by participating in our Team Culture workshop

  • The importance of diversity within a team and that true team strength lies in valuing differences.
  • Individuals taking ownership of their responses to situations that occur daily in their role.
  • A set of Team principles are designed and established by the entire team.
  • The team creates a mandate to hold each other accountable to team principles.
  • Increased positivity, confidence and motivation.

What are others saying?

We have a large diverse team with multiple cultures. TetraMap was a great tool to help everyone understand how other team members react and how to get the best response from their team peers. Most of the staff were somewhat reluctant to come along and sit in an office for a day but it was definitely worthwhile getting everyone to attend.

It was a very positive experience for everyone, and after the course, I have had positive feedback from all of our staff. We have everyone's TetraMap results posted on the wall at work now to help encourage people to keep thinking about their actions and reactions.

Our Team Principles “rules” we made as a team are also posted on the walls to be reviewed monthly. It was a great Team Building Exercise.
