As a born and bred Invercargill local, director and passionate advocate for Invercargill, Alex is primarily responsible for driving business growth through the development and execution of the firm's marketing strategy.

As for Alex's technical skills, she has strong foundations in digital media, design, strategy and has previously been part of the team behind southland's regional promotional publications, The Life, Invercargill City Guide, and Invercargill City Map. 

Elected to the Invercargill City Council in 2016 and re-elected for a third term in 2022, Alex has a keen interest in governance. She is a member of Local Government New Zealand's (LGNZ) National Council and Chair of LGNZ's Young Elected Members Network. Alex has also served as a trustee of Active Southland (formerly Sport Southland), Chair of Ride Southland, and Chair of Southland Youth Futures.

In her spare time, Alex coordinated Bellyful Invercargill, our local arm of a national charity that cooks and delivers delicious meals for families with newborns or serious illness in an effort to make a trying time, just a little bit easier and spends time with her delightful little family.
