Cash Manager Rural is migrating to their next-generation cloud-based software platform - Farm Focus.

This is set to be complete by 31 March 2022. This means if you are currently using Cash Manager Rural you now need to make a choice to either move to Farm Focus or look into other software options.

Farm Focus is their cloud-based software that allows you to work from any device as long as you have an internet connection. It looks and works differently from Cash Manager Rural but still has the same fundamentals, such as entering a budget and filing your GST return. This redesigned platform does not look like the old Cash Manager Rural, which means you will be learning all-new software.

For this reason, we think now is the right time to look at what our clients are trying to achieve within their software.

This includes entering and paying bills, invoicing, going paperless, budgets etc. We will give options or recommendations on what software will provide you with the best and most efficient results.

Xero combined with Figured is the comparative software package we are offering. This may seem complicated as there are two software's involved, but that is not the case. Xero is your data processing software, like how you used Cash Manager Rural, and Figured is the budgeting and reporting add-on software. Both are cloud-based platforms, only requiring an internet browser, and the software connects seamlessly with information transferring back and forth between the two.

We're experts in this type of software and would be delighted to work with you to determine which one could be right for you.

If you already know you would like to move to either software:

• For Xero/Figured, we are doing these in groups of 10 clients over the next few months. This is to ensure we can provide training and respond to queries promptly. As this is a first-come, first-served process, please let us know if you wish to book an appointment.
• For Farm Focus, contact CRS Software directly to organise your migration and training. We can also assist with training, the cost of which we will advise.

You can get set up now on Xero/Figured for this migration but not use the software until you have some time for training. We know this is a busy time for you and that it will be challenging to squeeze in that training appointment. We will be providing training for Xero/Figured in the new year unless requested otherwise. You will have to start using new software from 1 April. However, we can bring in part-year data from Cash Manager into Xero from your balance date.
